Welcome to Hotel Vildbjerg, which is located in the small and cosy town, Vildbjerg, between Holstebro and Herning. The hotel has existed for 125 years and consists of 33 bright rooms all with bathroom en suite, TV, radio and free wireless internet. Until 1962, brown coal was excavated in Abildå Brunkulleje (brown coal field). By arrangement, you can see former brown coal workers recreate the work of excavating brown coal. Trehøje Museum is showing a large collection of locally collected workshop environments as well as some farming tools from when real horse power was used. Have a guided tour of Møltrup Community Home - residential accommodation where, among other things, the residents keep animals, have a butchery and a food shop where the products from the home are sold.
