Welcome to Hotel Vildbjerg. A cozy haven in the western part of Central Jutland.

The hotel is located in the small provincial town of Vildbjerg, between Holstebro and Herning, close to experiences, nature and culture. We emphasize the authentic and local, which is reflected in our role as host of several exciting events and our ambition to be the entire region's dining destination.

Hotel Vildbjerg forms the framework for an intimate, warm and homely atmosphere for all guests. Our trademark is quality at reasonable prices, where everyone can join, regardless of whether it is ordinary hotel stays; romantic weekend getaways; an experiential mini-holiday for the whole family; golf stays; company parties; birthdays or meetings.

You can enjoy the local charm of Vildbjerg and the surrounding nature, go to bed in a comfortable bed and experience present hospitality, which is down to earth, without the big arm movements.

With more than 135 years behind us, we dare to promise that we know what we are doing. 

The hotel was built in 1883 by Niels Mouritsen and has had many owners over the years.

Back in 1918, the hotel was converted into a college dormitory by Mr. Gramstrup, since you couldn't get an alcohol licence. This gave them the right to dispense for "resident guests", this meant that many of the city's locals began to sign in the guest book so that they could also enjoy the dispensing at the hotel. It was only after a new referendum in 1961 that the license was granted so that alcohol could be served to all the hotel's guests again.

Since then, the hotel has had many guests staying overnight, eating and partying. Today, the hotel offers cozy function rooms for both small and large parties, a lovely courtyard where many events are held, a cozy restaurant, and 33 nice rooms
