The hotel is located in the small cozy town of Vildbjerg between Holstebro and Herning. The hotel has existed for 130 years and consists of 33 bright rooms all with private bath/toilet, TV, radio and free wireless internet. The hotel has a cozy inn and restaurant with a large glass facade facing the street. The restaurant emphasizes good Danish cuisine and has a varied a la carte menu.
Vildbjerg and surroundings
Until 1962, lignite was mined in the Abildå Brunkulleje. By appointment, former lignite workers can be seen recreating the work of mining lignite. The exciting nature area is worth a hike and you can also enjoy your own food. Trehøje Museum displays a large collection of locally collected workshop environments as well as a number of agricultural tools from when real horse power was used. Get a tour of Møltrup Optagelshjem - a housing offer where the residents, among other things, has animal husbandry, a slaughterhouse and a grocery store where local goods are sold.
In Vildbjerg you can enjoy a walk in the city's green areas in the form of Vildbjerg Lund and Vildbjerg Søpark.
Vildbjerg is centrally located in relation to the surrounding larger cities: Herning, Holstebro and Ringkøbing, which offer everything from culture, sports and a cozy market town atmosphere.
